Morale Booster for the Indomitable Lionesses
22/07/2012, By Colette Dibo in Aberdeen

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have rounded up their pre-olympic training camp in Aberdeen with a 6-0 win over the women team Aberdeen FC.

Playing on Thursday 19 July 2012, on the eve of their departure to London, the Lionesses made it look easy with a neat domination of their opponents.

There were three goals in each half and the win is expected to serve as a morale booster ahead of the London games. Aboudi Onguene and Nchout Njoya had two each. Ngock Yango and substitute Enganamouit Gaelle scored a goal each.

The performance of the Lionesses easily convinced the opponent fans and some hundreds of youths playing a holiday tournament next door to back Cameroon. Some even cut out instant stars in the Cameroon team and rushed out for autographs at the end of the day.

In all the lion`s spirit is running down the lionesses as they get closer and closer to their first match in the 2012 London Olympic tournament.

Cameroon are in Group E and will play their first match against Brazil in Cardiff on July 25. Then against the UK on July 28, still in Cardiff before taking on New Zealand on July 31 this time in Coventry.
